She returned regularly to Vanier College until 2014 to teach specialty topics in reptile and amphibian care and medicine in both the Animal Health Technology and Ecological Technology curriculums.
She has always had a special interest in exotic animal husbandry and medicine, and later found nutrition (therapeutic and wellness) and critical care medicine as other clinical passions.
She obtained her RLAT in 2008 while working in biomedical research (later retiring this certification in 2014), as well as in a busy general/emergency practice, and studying at university full-time.
